The format
What happens at an age:AI event
Topics, argued out loud
Each evening runs a set of short discussion topics, each one a single claim about where AI is going. In September that meant running out of reality, talking with animals, computers built from living neurons and the automation of automation.
The room votes
The audience does not just listen. At the September event the Temp Check put the big questions to a live vote, so the room could see where it actually stood on them.
Hands on, then the room
Live demonstrations you can try yourself, and time to meet the people around you. Most of the useful conversations happen between the sessions and after the last one.
